If you’ve been to HML lately, you probably know that the Darlington County Library Systems is now part of the statewide library consortium SCLENDS.
SCLENDS is a network of 30 county libraries and the South Carolina State Library that share library materials through a single catalog. Together, SCLENDS libraries have a collection of more than 2.75 million items.
What does that mean for HML patrons? If you’re looking for something that isn’t available in our collection, you can search the SCLENDS catalog to see if another participating library has it. Available materials can be requested through the catalog and delivered to your home library for pickup.
You can search the SCLENDS catalog from your computer or mobile device. The SCLENDS Desktop Website lets you browse participating library collections and manage your account. You can also download the SCLENDS Mobile App from the Apple App Store or Google Play to search the catalog and manage your account from your phone or tablet.
